We have so many activities planned for this years Family Reunion! Below are a few of the activities we can enjoy, while staying at Camp Campbell!
Archery
Have you ever wanted to learn the art of shooting a bow and arrow (aka archery!)? Could you imagine a more beautiful place to learn?
Archery is an activity Camp Campbell offers free to it’s campers. That would be us!
Arts and Crafts
Another fun option available to us will be use of the Art’s & Crafts Pavilion. Mostly geared to the younger generation, this is where the kids can spend some time spreading their creative and craft-ie wings! Yay!
Disc Golf
Disc Golf, anyone? Anyone?
Disc golf is pretty much traditional golf played with a Frisbee®. The object is to complete each hole in the fewest throws. To play, you throw your disc from a tee area to a target, or “hole.” The most common target is called a Pole Hole®, and looks like an elevated metal basket. See below.
Camp Campbell’s course has nine short holes in the woods surrounding the cabins. The tees are marked by tee signs, and bags with discs are available for rent. In other words, bring your own Firsbees!!
Mole Hole
If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to fall down a black hole, well, the Mole Hole may be just for you!

Court Sports
Who doesn’t love to play team sports? And Camp Campbell has plenty of options.
Who’s played on courts in a more awesome location??
Campfire
“It only takes a spark to get a fire going. And soon all those around can warm up to it’s glowing. That’s how it is with God’s love . . .”
Everybody sing!
We have our own assigned campfire site, show below.
Join us in the evenings for
Singing and S’mores around the campfire,
hosted by our own Sid Rios & Co.
Tie-dye Shirts – $12.00
Camp Campbell is affectionately remembered for this fun activity that the kids all loved!
Tie-dyed shirts are a paid activity, and the cost of $12, covers the price of your T-shirt.
What you create with your T-shirt is totally up to you!
Flying Squirrel & Leap of Faith – $15
Nope, we’re not talking Rocky & Bullwinkle here, but these two activities include trees, extreme height, and flying through the air.
On ropes, that is!
For only $15 you can suit up and fly through the beautiful redwoods. One activity is the simple zip line ride, the other entails jumping for a target. Awe-some!
Due to equipment sizes, participants must be 13 or older.
Pool – Swim & Slide – Per Hour
Camp Campbell’s amazing pool and slide are sure to thrill the whole family!
Because of the number of man-hours required to operate the facilities, the pool and slide are available to us by the hour.
Currently we’ve scheduled 1 hour of pool time, with a second hour of pool and slide. Please check your itinerary during your camp stay, to make sure you take advantage of the facilities while they’re open to us!
And please note: We’re looking for underwriters for each of the hourly paid activities! If you’d like bless the family and cover the cost of one or more hours of any of these activities, please email us at reunion@losnietosdedonchon.com!!
Climbing Wall – Per Hour
For the experienced, AND the inexperienced, Camp Campbell has a Bouldering Wall, as well as a Climbing Tower, shown right.
Please check your reunion itinerary for the time this activity will be available for our use, because this activity is also a “per-hour” activity, and only available at certain times.
The Climbing Wall is another activity we’d love to have underwritten! If you’d like bless the family and cover the cost of one or more hours of any of the hourly activities, please email us at reunion@losnietosdedonchon.com!!
High Ropes Challenge Course – $40 per person
Need an extra bit of excitement? Or hey, maybe just wanting to challenge yourself a bit? Then this course is just for you!
This rope course is a series of challenges, designed to push you to encounter your personal best.
More than one can participate at a time. This is a paid activity.
Low Ropes Team Building – $40 per person, groups of 10
This low ropes course is designed to strengthen communication and teamwork between participants, and works best with groups of 10 or more.
The Vasquez are known to be a family of many Chiefs! It might serve us all well to participate in this one, and practice the art of submitting one to another. “No greater love . . . .”
The Low Ropes course is also a paid activity.
