‘Tis that time again to gather our Crew and come together in fellowship, and harmless mayhem deep in the heart of Texas! The dreaded Scurvy (COVID-19) postponed our gathering last year, but we are determined to bring the crew together safely and have some fun in 2022!
Hoist the colors and set sail to arrive at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone National Park at 2301 Burleson Blvd, Burleson, Texas on Thursday, June 30th,2022, thru Sunday, July 3rd, 2022.
Make sure you pack your best Pirate outfit for our Crew dinner Saturday night.

The website is now live https://www.losnietosdedonchon.com where you can find information on what we have planned so far. We know where we will be staying, lodging costs, and registration fee.
Please subscribe to the website newsletter so that we have an alternative way to send you information. Because some family members do not have or want Facebook, updates will be shared on the website as well and will be automatically sent to those who subscribe. Make sure you don’t miss anything by entering your email address in the form on the website (https://www.losnietosdedonchon.com/) located in the right-hand column (See picture below) and press the SUBSCRIBE button. Reservations
We will also start to accept reservations for lodging beginning Monday, November 1st, 2021. Email David Carranza directly at leathermsj@gmail.com or call him at 408-230-3276 to make your reservations for you. PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THE FACILITY DIRECTLY.
Registration
Planning has been very difficult this year due to COVID. We have done our best to make attending the Reunion as easy and inclusive as possible.
With this in mind, the committee has decided that since Texas residents don’t have the added traveling costs from flying that our Californian and other out of state travelers have, the banquet room costs for the weekend will be split among our Texas Residents. We have also decided to package the Registration Fees to be all inclusive.
Registration fees include:
- Thursday BBQ Dinner supplied by Hugo Cervantes, son of Lucy Vasquez, youngest child of Leonte Vasquez Sr., and Committee.
- Friday Breakfast, Friday Dinner, Saturday Breakfast and Saturday Dinner catered by Awesome Catering
- A Commemorative Vazquez Family Reunion 2022 T-Shirt designed by Greg Sumi Jr.
Fees will also help cover the cost of game night munchies, water for the weekend, name tags, registration paperwork, etc…

*The Caterer stipulated this age range in order to give us a price break for food.
** The price on here is the total cost with the tax and gratuity included.
Other optional fees not included with Registration:
- Water Park Entry – $25.00 per person (allows entry for the whole weekend)
- Poker Tournament – $25.00 Buy-in Friday during game night
- Golf Cart Rental (See Price sheet. If you would like to reserve one, make your reservation as soon as possible. These rentals sell out fast.)
